About Us
I became involved in agriculture seven years ago when my twins were born. Like any parent, I wanted the best for my children, and I realized that by growing my own food, I could provide them with the most nutrient-dense superfoods in the world. What started as a way to nourish my family quickly grew into something much bigger. Over the years, my garden expanded, and so did my vision. Today, I’m proud to not only provide for my family but also contribute to my community.
In many ways, agriculture is deeply rooted in who I am. As a Hmong person, I come from a long lineage of farmers. Our history traces back to the Yellow and Yangtze rivers in China, where the Hmong are credited as some of the first people to cultivate rice, spreading this vital crop throughout Asia for over 10,000 years. This rich agricultural heritage deeply inspires and grounds me in the work I do today.
As a holistic health practitioner, I also understand the profound connection between food and wellness. My journey into farming was a natural extension of my desire to provide the best for my children—both nutritionally and holistically. While I’ve always loved food and cooking, I never imagined that I would become a farmer. But now, it feels like the perfect way to honor my heritage, care for my family, and give back to my community.
We’re a small family-run regenerative farm that’s been growing strong for the past three years. What began as a vision to nourish our family and land has now blossomed into a thriving operation rooted in sustainability, cultural diversity, and community connection. Through partnerships with programs like Fresh RX, OKC Food Hub, OLAC, OFRA, and other local organizations, we've gained access to incredible resources that have helped us grow—both literally and figuratively.
